New York, NY–MY Entertainment, Michael Yudin’s New York-based production company, has struck a deal with the Video Call Center (VCC) to co-develop programs.
Under the agreement MY Entertainment and the VCC will co-develop new show formats and series concepts utilizing the VCC’s patented video caller and social television technologies. The two companies will also further develop some existing programs within the VCC catalogue, which My Entertainment will pitch for sale to networks. The VCC has produced hundreds of workshop programs incorporating live video callers – as examples of how its technology may be used, across a wide-range of genres including sports, celebrity gossip, news, politics, music and more.
The VCC will provide production expertise and serve as co-producer on any programs that go into development. MY Entertainment will act as executive producer and manage distribution rights on all shows that result from the partnership. The agreement marks the first time that the VCC has engaged with a production company on co-development that can deliver traditional TV, OTT and web-based video content.
The alliance combines MY Entertainment’s production, development, and history of working with brands along with the VCC’s technologies and production services. The VCC’s patented technology and production services tie the world’s 4 billion smartphones into live TV shows for broadcast, cable, the web and Facebook Live. The technology enables reliable call acquisition from any phone and using IP video applications already on the device, for an unlimited number of callers, as well as call producing and host automated production without a TV control room.
